If you have landed here on our site....you are either currently a Balanced Man guy....are you are checking us out to see what this "Guys Night" is all about. Either way....we welcome you.
Our vision for this semester was to create four major opportunities for the guys of NLC to hang-out and enjoy some great food, fellowhip, and a great word.
- There are ONLY two meetings this semester and one off-site weekend retreat, and a sports night in St. Louis this summer.
- The meetings, called "Guy's Nights" are set for Monday Night, March 16th and Monday Night , May, 18th.
- The Retreat is set for May 14-16 in Dallas, Texas at Gateway Church. The retreat is called The Alpha Summit. More information will be coming soon.
- The Sports night idea is to attend a cardinals game in St. Louis. The plan is ride the train from Little Rock to St. Louis. More info will be coming on this as well.
The "Guys Night" meetings are held in the foyer of Conway Campus of New Life Church. These meetings start at 6:30 PM with food and fellowship followed by an encouraging word specifically designed for today's man.
Following our meetings we have "after hours" fellowship that involves Wii Championships and ESPN sports on the plasma TV's in foyer.
We ourselves are husbands, fathers, and friends who know it's very easy to get out of balance. This out of balance place is where many of us begin to compromise. With demands and pressures of work, family, kids activities, and all the other stuff that keeps us moving and shaking....it's easy to get out of whack. In our meeting and retreat settings we discuss and challenge oneanother to maintain balance in four key areas of our lives (God-Health-Family-Work).
